New iPhone features leaked: Big surprises in battery and camera

Apple's new smartphone, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, could be launched in September this year. A recent leak on Chinese social media Weibo suggests that this model will be the iPhone with the most powerful battery ever.

What's in the leaked information?

According to some trusted tech analysts, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could have a battery with a capacity of around 5,000 milliamperes (mAh). This battery would be about 10 percent more powerful than the 4,676 mAh battery in Apple's current flagship iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The thickness of the phone may also increase slightly. It is estimated that it could be around 8.725 millimeters from the previous 8.25 millimeters, which will create extra space for the battery. However, it is not expected to make a big difference in the type or use of the phone.

The battery life will be even longer

Currently, the iPhone 16 Pro Max can provide 33 hours of continuous battery backup. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to get 35 hours or more of battery life if an additional 300 mAh battery is added.

The camera department

is also expected to see improvements, with the new model featuring three 48-megapixel cameras on the back and an improved 24-megapixel front camera. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are said to have similar camera specs.

According to the news

although Apple has not yet made any official announcement, technology analysts believe that the iPhone 17 Pro Max is going to be the most capable model in terms of long battery life. Although it is a bit heavy in design, it may be the most preferred iPhone for those who use the phone for a long time.
